InSaint-Peterburg, Ahlersis active in international forwarding, distribution, warehousing, customs brokerage and agency. The Ahlers team is expanding rapidly. To support all these new projects of the group from a financial and controlling point of view and to streamline all financial processes, Ahlers wants to invest in young talent. The Board of Directors decided to strengthen Ahlers’ financial department.We are looking forthe financial controller. Major accountabilities of the job: To work out feasibility studies and risk analysis of investment projects. To draw up budget-plans in collaboration with the business units. The regular execution of budget controlling. The introduction and follow up of company policies wrt levels of decision making, salary adaptations, Hiring of personnel, cost levels … To work out reporting-procedures and to take care of internal reporting (to the management and the shareholders) and to external partners (banks en financiers). The consolidation of results of different offices or regions. The follow up of local and international fiscal law and reglementation Education, knowledge and experience: The ideal candidate: Has a university degree in economics with thorough knowledge of accountancy, international finance and fiscality Has a first experience in a controlling function preferably in an international business context. Has fluency in English and at least one other major international language Specific qualities and competencies: The ideal candidate: has a strong interest in all aspects of Financial Management and in the ongoing evolutions in the Supply Chain industry. is internationally mobile, flexible in the use of his time and is willing to relocate has a good level of multi-cultural sensitivity and has the capacity to work with multi-cultural teams.
